Browser ignores proxy settings

It looks like my browser (Galeon) doesn't want to use a proxy anymore, as if proxy settings didn't exist.

I was showing anonymous at various test sites, then out of the blue, it's like the proxy option doesn't even exist anymore.

Mandrake 9
Galeon 1.2.5
Moz engine 1.1

Proxies work in Moz.
Any ideas?

I have to admit that I'm not familiar with Galeon. However, as a general test, try this: grab a copy of JAP, install, and see if you can work through that. At least it should let you know if Galeon is working or if the problem lies somewhere beyond it.
