...which'll be coming to DC0x0B with me:
* Libretto 50ct (guts ripped out, replaced with motherboard and keyboard from 70ct) running linux
* Libretto auto adapter
* A number of cards (mostly Orinoco and Cisco) and antennas (homebrew yagis, cantennas, commercial omnis and directionals), until I decide on a favored card and antenna combo, and mount them semi-permanently
* A Ram-brand auto mount for mounting the Libretto
* An old Earthmate serial GPS, that I'll probably end up mounting internally assuming I can still get a good look at the sky with it, and feed it appropriate voltage and current
I'll probably run kismet for the most part, thanks to the integration with gpsd and gpsmap.
Unfortunately, an urge to declutter and raise some cash forced me to sell off all my warwalking gear (the linux-running iPaqs, the Zaurii, etc.), and the need to help out a friend (our beloved dispatch, Cat) resulted in me giving away my 1-meter Yagi homebrew, so this is a fresh start. I intend to make as much as possible a permanent stealth install, with certain things (the Ram mount, the computer) removable as necessary.
Eventually, I'll be interfacing audio and data to my head unit. There's something to be said for a head unit with USB, serial, and Ethernet interfaces, a full Linux kernel, a TCP/IP stack, a hard drive, and built-in bitmapped display (an Empeg: see this page for info and links). There's even a gps mapping mod for it, but it's not realtime, so I'm not as interested in that.
