I'll have to agree with noid's post way up the thread. I usually don't end up using the pricey gadgets too often during the con.

I think my list of items will consist of the following gear.

- Yaesu VX-5
- 1.2 ghz ham gear for jamming wifi with harmonic interference (see http://www.lbagroup.com/associates/intfaq.htm#4.php for more info)
- Beam antenna (for selective wifi jamming i.e Shipley)
- Sony Clie SJ22 PDA with Keyboard and Camera accessories
- Digital camera I wouldn't feel devastated losing
- Another digital camera i wouldn't feel devasted losing
- Card-Verts (well, it's sort of a business card but more of an advertisement for my website) Yay Vistaprint.com
- DC Forum Avatar Badge
- Spare AAA Nickel Metal Hydrate batteries for digital cameras.
- Battery Recharger
- Recharge cable for Clie
- MP3 cd player plus MP3 CDs
- Shades
- Insulated water bottle holder to keep it nice and cool
- My own damn towel - When you share a room it's best to bring your own damn towel and let the rest of the people fight for the ones provided by the hotel.
- Mostly plastic power strip
- Mini Spiral Notepad and Pens- When I'm too drunk to be carrying around my Clie
- Clothing
- Travel bag (toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo, etc.)
