i have a compaq ipaq 3835 and me and a few buddies of mine have been wardriving (or warspying as we call it) with it for a long time. after i have been using it for about 6 months or so it froze in one spot and i could not reset it. so i just decided to reset it back to factory defaults.

after doing that, it ran like a champ again. except for one thing, when i try to access setup pages for access points (from internet explorer), it will ask for the password and everything like normal, but then it wont load the page. a blank white page just shows and and when i press refresh, it'll just keep showing the white page, or it will say page not found.

i have tried different browsers, but most of them are just the same thing as internet explorer. i have also resetted the thing once more after learning about this, and the same thing happened.

i have no idea what the hell could be causing this, and i really need to know, or else i cant go wardriving :(

if anyone has suggestions on what might be wrong, please reply.

I have a suggestion. Stop doing illegal shit and then asking for help because you are having trouble with said illegal shit.

It seems you can go wardriving just fine, you just can't access private access points. Wardriving is about finding the networks and seeing how they are setup, not about changing settings on someone elses AP.

Take it all back to the store, trade it in for something easier than a computer. Maybe get a fish tank.

        No fish. Not yet.
