    Interesting scanner freqs at DC?

I'm bringing a scanner with me, is there anything ummmmm... interesting.... as far as frequencies go? I can follow Motorola I and II, ericsson and LTR trunking. Also, 800mhz capable!! Basically I can get anything except AAPCO-25. Anything fun or handy to listen to?

It's always interesting to watch the traffic dumps being put out over PSK31 in real-time from the CTF.

It's also lots of fun to play "stalk the goon" by picking one and following their every move via the scanner.

    In other words, no.

I have a big list 'o freqs I'll have to dig up and post here. I've got the listings for most of the major hotels, the airport, Clark County Sheriff, Vegas Metro, and most state and local PDs from Seattle to Vegas (I drove last year). I'll see if I can find it.

The analogue stuff is still out there, although not as previlant as it used to be. However theres still plenty of phones that roll over to it as a back up. So theres still traffic out there that can be heard, but not nearly as much as there used to be.

Fordyce is OK, but isn't updated as much as it used to be. Try http://www.cityfreq.com ; I've always found them to be spot-on.

OK they got "showboat" which is now the recently defunked Castaway's

and OMG Desert INN (as in video clip of when it was accually demo'ed showing on Ocean's 11)

There's gotta be a better list.

BTW there is a "general" LVPD channel at http://www.lvmpd.com that streams their supervisor channel to web listeners
