So, guess what i get in the mail the other day. A post card from Cisco. They just wanted to let me know that they appriciate my interest in their books, but due to the overwhelming volume of interest they had, they regret that they will not be shipping any books. This is pretty much political newspeak for 'we fucked up, but will be damned if you get to reap the benefits of our mistake'. They did however invite me to check out some of their informative white papers on their site. Thats nice of them..

I return whatever i wish . Its called FREEDOWM OF RANDOMNESS IN A HECK . CLUSTERED DEFEATED CORn FORUM . Welcome to me

Yes, I too was a victim of the "Give us your email address so that we can send you endless volumes of Cisco Spam while pretending we are going to send you free books and then laughing at you" scam.

Fuck Cisco...fuck them in their fucking asses.

I got a little slip of paper saying they dont have anymore books, what a bunch of fuckers!!!! or "fuckerzz" depending on location.

on a side note, the Wireless Hacks book by O'Reilly is very nice, covers alot of ground in a few pages.

Got the same postcard. How many books did they have, 5? Anyway I used the middle initial of H when asking for the books which means from now on when I get spam mail with the middle initial H on it that it came from Cisco, or Cisco sold my name.

            GIMME MY DAMN BOOKS CICSO!!!!!!

If a company has an offer thats too good to be true then well it probably means that they are just going to sell your information so you can have an everlasting supply of junk mail and spam
(Damn it and I was looking foward to some good reading material)

Maybe there was a postcard saying they were out of horse heads so they are sending fish out instead because there was such a huge demand.
