Although, dont rule out In-n-Out Burger. There are none here in WA and I used to live less than a mile away from one in SoCal. Some fantastic food, luckily theres one in Vegas. One of my 'must eat here' events on this Vegas trip will be to go to In-n-Out for a 3x3 with grilled onions...

The Aliso FB is a nice place to chill and grab a beer while waiting for a movie. But with Wahoos right there, I usually opt for the blackened fish/pacifico combo.

The breakfast buffet at the Tropicana is pretty good. I think it is around $12.00 - $15.00. I stayed there last year for abit after the con.

I'm a huge fan or the Rio buffet; although it was slipping last year. Gonna try the MGM this year and see how it goes.

Eh, I'm not much for fish tacos. I tried them... they were just "weird". Didn't taste bad... didn't taste good. It was sort of like mixing taco bell and long john silvers.

For about 2.5 years I lived 1 block away from the (original) Costa Mesa Wahoo's, and about 2 blocks from a Rubio's. I would have been strung up and burned as a heretic had I not embraced the fish taco.

I thought perhaps moving to Bitchin Viejo would slow my fish taco intake...now I'm situated between a Taco Mesa and a new Baja Fresh. Tacos pescados todo los dios.

So, would anyone be interested in doing a DC Buffet outing to the RIO?

I don't know if any of my folks would be interested or not, but lets talks about it.

For me, a buffet is a buy one get one free Subway coupon.

I have yet to find an excellent buffet.
I have found some good bargains.

If anyone has tried the steak and egg deal on the corner across from Stratosphere Id like to know how it is.. Smelt good as we passed it..

Also if theres a place for good ribs..

Travel channel reviewed the "Green Valley Ranch" which is a casino/resort right outside town as the best buffet, most variety, 7 different cuisines, and a good place to gamble. Its a locals place.

One of the better buffets I had was at Binions they had a seafood buffet. was like 10 bucks..

You cant go wrong with FatBurger.. its not a buffet, but its good.
its open 24 hours too. $6-10

Yard long drinks, Downtown, La Bayou. Awesome, worth the money.. Ive seen people order 2 double, and get trashed.
                            about $6

Breakfast at HardRock was good, join slot club for a coupon.
                            was very cheep.

                            Onto the bad reviews.

I wasnt impressed with Sahara Buffet, but it wasnt horrible.

The Island buffet at Tropicana. Well everyone was dissapointed
and it was 15 bucks to boot. They had fetucinni and pasta prepared custom for you by a chef.
99cent margarita from Riviera. Like drinking syrup.. it was sickening..
Pink Pony in Circus Circus.. left stomachs working overtime.
1.49cent 3/4 lb Jumbo Hotdog at Westward Ho, the first 5 bites are ok, after that the pork flavor sets in.. After that your bowels kick into action.

Boy Syntax, you've hit all the shitty places, hehehe. The Sahara buffet IS horrible... don't kid yourself into thinking otherwise.

The best buffets I've been to so far were Bellagio and Paris. You'll pay a hefty price, but they're SSSSOOOOOOOO worth it!
