    Howard Johnson... Awesone Customer (phone) Service

    Just called to make a reservation at the HoJo LAS Airport...
    The woman on the phone was wonderfully helpful...
    I said i wanted to make resv for jul 31-aug 3rd...
    she then quoted me the basic rates...
    I then told her that i was with DefCon... She said, "Well honey , why didnt you say that in the first place..." She made it sound like the NonSmoking, two bed rooms were reserved for defcon goers...

    If anyone is still looking for a place, i would recomment the HoJo at the airport at the Def Con rate...

    Cant wait...

      This is certainly a novel approach to keeping customers happy. I wonder how much conference space the HoJo has. ;-)

                      hey sweet. I"m staying there as well. and yes, the special DefCon rate is awesome. I will be there on the nights of the 1st & 2nd. because we will just sleep in the car on the 31st to save money, and do the same on the 3rd, but possibly we will mabey stay another night. Plus HoJo's has a free shuttle to the AP where defcon is :)

                              The HJ's right next to the airport..basically inbetween the airport and AP.
