in an attempt to get more hippies to "just go digital already", humboldthookup.com is launching a free wireless access point on the arcata plaza on monday. locals think the project is having an impact on the local plazoids, who have been seen "loitering with laptops" and "signal-boosting" each other's dreadlocks.

One local youth who was too high to recall his name said he had designed a ethereal filter that would sniff packets for "dank nuggets."

we had some luck, considering wep wasn't on as of last night. :)
