Defcon Questions

Has anyone thought of a location other then vegas? Or is the 24-hour drinking law what keeps it here?

AP is great, but space and creative use of that space is starting to get fuzzy. Further, I'm not sure what resort here would tolorate after parties AND the Con in one place, other then AP.

Can we get some more insider insight on this? Or is it all up in the air until next Feburary/March when planning for DC12 starts (well I don't know when planning starts, but that sounded pretty close to what it might be)

Is San Jose, LA, or Seattle not good West Coast Vibes? Or maybe there is some history I don't know about. Oh well just a thought :)
