That is funny as hell. I thought Mitnick was a cool haxor, up until I heard the full story, now I see him as just a tool. He was an ok SE, and now he is trying to capitalize on that, course stotan.org members have already started to give him shit ;) Next year I am going to give a shot at SEing him, that would be something to tell my friends :D~:CK:~

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I don't get why everyone is ragging on Mitnick. I think this seminar could actually be interesting and maybe even useful. $1500 sounds like a bit much, though. Go buy his book, Art of Deception, and you'll probably learn at least half as much for about 2% of the cost. But then again, you don't get a certificate that way.
My perspective is probably different than most though because I'm in a tech support position. I'm one of the people most likely to be targetted by a SE attack!DrakeComment
