Thanks for some great suggestions! I have found a few that I like, and am now bringing it back to y'all to help make the final suggestion.

Mochanet has a really cool ring to it... ideas that pop to mind include running an ircd for the shop that people can use to chat with each other (yes, in the same room, but before/without irl f2f or whatever) If you spread into a chain, this net could extend to other shops... take that specific thing and spread it to other nifty, little things that could be added to make your customers remember your place specifically and want to go back over other cafe-type places.

HOWEVER... I determined that it would better stay a moniker for your network than to actually be the name of your place..

Silicon Grounds is definately the best choice for a business; professional enough to get money, edgy enough to attract a unique customer base, and generally nice format for establishing a brand. ... just assure your customers that they are not actually drinking silicon.. either that or something like 'the Kat Five' that could be a good one too.. also a cheap way to decorate the joint in between pictures/exhibits of tech from yesteryear.
