Im new to hacking..... i know the basics of telnet and some tcp/ip but whenever i try to penatrate a systems security i am never sucsessful. Could someone point me to a good e-book or something of that nature that could go more into pentrating firewalls/routers? i have been searching everywhere but all i get are crappy books.

Why should we point you toward some books? You obviously can't read or you would have read some of the other posts on here and would know what asking this question would get you.
