I need a little help with wireless LAN

Well I'm new to any type of networking, I know my computer and everythign in it and a little out of it, but as far as networking goes, specialy wireless networking I just have a question. Do O need a Wirless access point to make a LAN between 2 PC that have LAN cards? If not how do I do this?

If you already have wireless cards for both computers you do not need an Access Point to handshake between the two. If you are using MS operating systems the following web site will walk you through the connection setup.
