      Mac OS X Security

      Apple has done an amazingly good job with Mac OS X and handling the security issues that exist by making upgrades available shortly after the 'hole's are discovered. Most all of the security concerns have affected the computer when at console and not remotely, those that are remote have been limited to the scenarios that they could be exploited under.

      Right now their screensaver has been seen to be faulted but that is local. And one of my favorite locals which is only present up to 10.2.8 and requires a USB Keyboard to be attached only takes the control-c keycombo during startup to crash the init to bring you to # Then again there are numerious other ways to gain root locally its not funny :)

      Most of the fixes can be seen by looking at the updates in the care center documenting which exploit, bug, flaw it has been fixed for. :)
