Hi, this post is similar to the post on Price expectancy posted by Sintex apart from one slight difference. I live in the UK and have recently been trying to total how much it would cost to get there. If anyone has made this trip before or could give me ideas or an estimate on how much it would cost it would be useful. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area wasn’t completely sure. Cheers

- US$75 for your badge.
- US$129/night (I believe this is this year's price) to stay at the Alexis Park.
- Pocket money: US$100/day, to include booze, meals, cabs (there's no point in renting a car in Vegas; you'll be too drunk to drive and transport is cheap and ubiquitous), gambling, souvenirs, etc. I'm basing this on a 3-day stay and liberal spending. That amount can get you by for a week if you're careful.
- Flight: check the travel ads in the Sunday Times. Good deals on cheap flights to the US can be had out of some of the hole-in-the-wall operators advertising in there if you're booking far enough in advance. US$350 is doable with enough advance booking and some patient research and comparison shopping.
- Bear in mind that it may be cheaper to fly to Los Angeles and catch a commuter flight to Vegas (or roll out with the caravan) than to try to fly there directly.

If you can split a room with 3 other people, you can pay approx $100 for the trip, total. Remember to go to Mr. Lucky's at The Hard Rock Hotel (not the Hard Rock Cafe) and ask for the steak and shrimp special for $7.77. Breakfast, lunch & dinner baby!
Stay away from the gambling if you are budgeting and can't afford to just throw that money away. Booze will be plentiful (and free if you're at the right party). And make sure you bring some dosh for purchasing souveniers.cows like candy
