    'Interesting' packet

    Hi all,

Does anyone know a way to speed up the capture of 'interesting' packets? I am doing some work on a wireless network that is very quiet, given that I need between 1200 and 4000 interesting packets for Airsnort to work its magic, I am trying to find a way to make the AP generate more of these packets.

I have the MAC of the AP so was thinking that I could send a load of ARP packets to it and see what happens.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

See this link at netstumbler. Look at the program output towards the bottom of the thread. It looks very interesting, also look at the dachb0den paper at this link .

Apparently I am not the only one taking interests in "13%" packets. Anybody got the "17%" packet?
