  • where can I get a prefix scanner

I have looked everywhere, and I can't seem to find a prefix scanner. Could you please tell me where to get one if you know, or how you can find numbers that have carriers with out one?

If you've looked everywhere then there must not be one.

The reason you cannot find a prefix scanner is due to the fact that you have not looked everywhere, or are incapable of utilizing the almighty GOOGLE - I assume you are referring to phone prefix scanner, commonly called a "war dialer" and you can look at overlay maps that are frequently updated and posted to get a feel for what part of the country you're scanning. If you're looking for prefix translation, look HERE. If you are still lost after this, and this info is of no use to you, THIS ONE may be.

I am aware of your e-mail and AIM already, and no - I will not send anything along the lines of a war dialer - there are way too many out there, they are not rare in any form, and you're just not trying to look with any effort at all. The way to further knowledge is to explore and be resourceful on your own, I have given you a clickable link to 2 key things you need, google and the prefix translation. Utilize the information you are given and make it work.

              1. That's a FAQ.

              2. You didn't tell us what OS you are wanting a "prefix scanner" to run under.

                  Thanx

hey thanx alot. I have Windows 98, so hopefully it will work. I downloaded TeleCon, or something like that, and I couldn't get it to work. I hope this one will, and, again, I say thanx.

this guy joined simply to get a war dialer because he was too lazy to find one himself. i wouldn't be too suprised if he's jumping on the telemarketing craze thanks to us.

His first, and likely his last post. Unless someone wants to mess with him, first.

Well, it's not all bad. After seeing this post it made me think of phobal, which made me laugh - a lot.

My favorite part was when he goes "this was the message if you don't remember".

Haha, so helpful, made me laugh out loud.
