Kill Bill - The Ultimate Hacking Movie

I expect that many people in these forums will probably go see Kill Bill Vol 2 tonight (or perhaps have already seen it!) and will be interested in discussing it (and the upcoming Kill Bill Vol 3 in 15 years!)

I'm watching Kill Bill Vol 1 right now in preparation of going to see it. I'll certainly be back with my opinion after seeing it, and I expect it to be nothing less than awesome.

Kill Bill is a film that you can only truly appreciate if you watch alot of old 60's and 70's Hong Kong and Soul movies.
The scene of her being trained by the Kung Fu master looked just like an old crappy Hong Kong movie and I loved it.

Plus, Its David Carradine. Come on now.

there was very little "soul" influence on the movie apart from the soundtrack, the majority was taken from spaghetti westerns, Italian "Giallo" movies, japanese samurai movies such as Shogun Assassin and Lady Snowblood and hong kong/kung fu movies.

The blaxoploitation inspired one is most certainly Jackie Brown.

Quentin Tarrantino announced that there will be Kill Bill 3 in *15* years. The story will focus on Vernita Green's daughter Nikki, now the chief assassin for Sophie Fatale (who inherited both Bill and O-Ren Ishi's crime empires) and her revenge against The Bride. Tenative title is "Kill Bill Vol. 3: Kill the Bride".

The reason for the 15 year wait is that he plans on using all the actors from from the first two films again, so it'll take 15 years for the girl who plays nikki to grow up. Tarrentino supposedly plans on filming material over the the 15 years for flashbacks.

Should be cool, i just hope he doesn't get hit by a car or something.
