Arriving on Thurs. with a small gaggle. <trolling for invitation> This will be my first year staying in the AP during the gig, so I will be looking for a pre-con party to donate some beer to. My timeline is something along the lines of:
Tuesday afternoon: arrive
Tuesday evening: ??forum gathering of some kind???
Wednesday afternoon: get up
Wednesday evening: large "economies of scale" alcohol purchasing extravaganza at local warehouses. Start drinking.
.....
.....
....
.....
.....
Monday afternoon: fly with large hangover
Tuesday: hungover, call in sick
Wednesday: hungover. call in sick
Thursday: hungover, call in dead

You are correct in that I did miss something. but it wasn't the conference (that's a given). I see the conference as the framework. What I didn't include was "meeting new people and/or hanging out with the friends I met the previous years but don't get to see but once or twice a year" (whilst going without sleep for 48 - 72 hours). :)Last edited by spahkle; April 22, 2004, 06:45.“Bigamy is having one wife too many.
