Hey all,
I've used this prog before (the demo) and loved it. It's too expensive to buy IMO. Does anyone know of a program that does the same stuff as this and is free or cheaper?

For those of you who never used it, it will ping nodes and such and tell you their status. Also lets you know the name of the machine, what it is (switch, hub, router, node, etc), its IP and MAC and a lot of other stuff that I havent touched yet.

At one of my sites I've been using IPMonitor for ages. I'm not sure if it was free, or had some nominal fee, but I know it wasn't expensive if it cost anything at all.
