Anyone want to start a NY DC?

I was wondering if anyone lived out in NY and wanted to have group meetings. So yeah let me know . I hope there are a lot of New Yorkers out there!

      The state, or the city?

NYC has some active 2600 folk that actually do stuff... the meeting I went to wasn't very directed, but some interesting folk were hanging out.

oh sorry about that . I forgot about the city... I live in NYC also, more specifically Queens. If they have one somewhere else that would be cool also, so I can see what that is like and decide if I want to make s eperate one with a few people or not...if that is allowed.

          nyc2600

Being a member of the nyc2600 meetings of 3 years, yes, we have a 2600 meeting in New York City -- and it would probably be the most appropriate place to discuss/meet in relation to defcon topics.

The meeting attendance has dwindled recently. I just barely make it to the meetings these days, as 2600, beginning years ago became very stupid.

Anyway, if you're interested in attending, since our website is down for who knows how long, drop me an e-mail: godsmoke@godsmoke.com

              Glad I'm on that list ... I think :)

It was a PowerBook, sold it about a year ago. Now I have a superslim Sony -- .75 inches thick or something -- 3.75 lbs.

3.75 lbs? That's about twice mine.
