This won't be directed at anyone in particular, but I felt obliged to say a big THANKYOU to everyone who is a part of this incredible community. Ever since I discovered DefCon, around 2 months ago, my general knowledge of systems security, of the definition of hacking, of linux, of so many different things related to this area of computing has been broadened beyond my imagination.
I type to you now using Mozilla Firebox, with forum.defcon.org as my homepage, casually flipping through my fresh copy of "Hacking Exposed" (I bought it on eBay, and it arrived today :))
Not only these forums, but the collection of media on the Defcon.org homepage is also very useful and incredibly informative.
The information and help (and laughs at the fucktard hall) I've had in these forums is priceless, and irreplaceable.
I'm sure you all don't need reminding how great you are, I just wanted to say I appreciate all the work that has gone into everything here.
I've only read a few pages into my new books, "Hacking Exposed - 2nd Ed." and "Firewalls - A Complete Guide (Goncalves)" but I'll post back to tell you what I thought of them.
Heres hoping I can continue to be a part of DC :D
