Pre-Defcon Room & Company

Im getting to Vegas on Tuesday apparently, I hadnt planned on getting there that early, I usually stay after, rather than before.

I dont have a room yet, for Tues and Wed Night. Ill be at Alexis Thurs-Sun.
The rest of my group wont arrive until then.

So if anyone else is traveling lone, wants to share a room somewhere else in Vegas before the con, drop a line. Im lookin for someone to hang with before the con.

Same situation. I've decided to go a day early, ahead of the others I'm staying with for Thu-Sun. I'm looking for people to hang out with Wednesday night, relax, unwind, do some drinking, and just wander about in general. No definate plans.

Let me know if you got a room for Wed night, I'd be willing to split it, otherwise I'll just book a room (they're cheap downtown), and gimme a shout so we can meet up.

If you look by Pool 2, after 10-11 O'clock on Wed. you will use find a group of Defconities in pre-party mode.

"pre-party mode" MY ASS... we were hammered last year... hammered and LOUD.. not sure how you could miss us... as a matter of fact.. if you start checking out there around tuesday.. we should be there too....

I don't think a pre-party mode exists. At Pool 2 last year on Tuesday we hit the ground running and never broke stride.

Only one year I showed up Wednesday night, and didn't see too much happening. Of course, I hardly knew anyone.

Names are still fuzzy, but at least by this point, I usually run into a several people who seem to remember me from prior years, from nights out drinking, or the ever popular hungover breakfast buffet.

So did anyone else have space to share for Wednesday night? If not, I'll probably just get a cheap room somewhere downtown.

Only at Defcon can you have a party where admission is the defacement of the Holy Bible, cram 50+ people into a small room, and have a drunken binge.
