isn't your job as the soon to be director/producer/film maker to come up with your own ideas for the audience?

I think you should do a Jackass/CKY style documentary with you attempting stupid stunts and getting hurt. I'd watch that shit.

but.. what if he did it on different hackers... see see.. he could interview a bunch of them that jump in front of his camera... yeah. and he could ask them pointed questions like, "what makes you tick" .. "how much have you missed kevin mitnick" .. and all

..or! maybe he could take a slightly different angle. he could simply point out to the sco'cer moms that all hackers are evil and need to be waged war against by a swift team of federal agents capable of running spamassassin.

..or! maybe he could take a more edgy approach and show how all hackers are young rollerblading rogues that get framed for writing a virus and team up to save the planet after breaking into a really large computer's recycle bin.

... maybe spin it kinda the way FOX is going to bastardize the wonderful works of Asimov in the upcoming release of I, Robot ... ( one of many amazing books by Asimov that deserves great screenplay and helped form my love for the machine and programming )
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

Or just show up, shoot, and see what the hell evolves without starting with a fixed view point. Rather a general topic and an open mind. Nahhhhhhhhh that's stoopid.

Yeah, there's also a time-to-live equation in place when you start randomly pointing cameras at people at Defcon.

Isn't there a rule somewhere stating you can toss someone in the pool for that? :D

Bascule's ideas are not bad at all.. as for the CIA using LSD, you can get more information here.

True, you do have to have to have "street cred" as a person thats dealing straight up. I that might be the hardest part in this type of topic. Maybe I'll do a gardening video.
