The last few years at defcon there were some issues with the wireless network.
One of the largest issues is the deauth flood attacks, which make it impossible to connect to the wireless network.
This years wardriving contest includes mini games
such as a scavenger hunt to find the mobile access point with ssid XYZ.
Why don't we have a "find the asshat doing the deauth flood" contest.
Points could be awarded to those who find someone performing denial of service on the wireless network. Extra points for throwing their laptop ino the pool.
I understand that the defcon network is all about "interesting" traffic, but it takes no skill to deauth users. It's not cool, it's not hacking, it's just straight up being a dick and ruining it for everyone else.
