    Jeopardy?

Am I to understand that there is no Hacker Jeopardy planned this year?
This is one of the most popular bits at DEF CON, I'd be surprised if
    it just went poof...

Hey your right there is no mention of it on defcon site
I don't see the TCP/IP Drinking game either... was't this suppose to get back too?
They probably just forgot to put it in the website event list

      From last year closing ceremony:
Mudge returned to the earth and will resurface with the TCP/IP drinking game next year. There was a strang stoz of him beeing afraid of flying and getting drunk when frlying and only flying buiseness class and Blackat Consulting unable to pay the trim and whatever. They will work out on ways to get him over to Las Vegas next year.

iirc there was a lot of bantor last about doing away with HJ and replacing with something new and fresh... because.. well, it's old, done, and not
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

No matter how many bullets you put in the horse, it's still dead. Here's hoping for a decent replacement.

I can understand your feelings, but I still have fun at the Hacker Jeopardy event. It doesn't have to be done in the same style, but the computer-trivia contests are entertaining.

As it is, the current schedule has it replaced with ... nothing. You may not have enjoyed it, but it's better than naught.

Even though its been done for many years, and Ive attended Defcon 3 times, Ive only attended Hacker Jeopardy 2 times, the same year, round 1 and 2.

Last year it was over crowded, more people than the tent would hold, if it were dead, would that many people still be attending? like they say, if it works dont fix it.

Id be surprised and amazed if something better was created to replace it..

girls of defcon are no more.

The new game is mentioned briefly. No details yet, but we hope you'll enjoy it.
