Little said town

hi everybody
i'm going to live in a said little town (Tovo san Giacomo-Italy (SV) ) with no adsl...i'm tryng to check if i could hack someone's wlan...but the nearest town is about 8 km with no direct sight..
i guess if someone knows if i had a canche to reach any wirelles spot with such distance and no direct sight..i'm going to built an elix antenna but i've read 2,5km is the average distance...
i've only need any URLs....thanks

Just a few questions:

What's a "said little town"? (I guess you could mean "said town" having not yet mentioned a town this is confusing.)

Canche? I know there is a "Che" on the DC forums here, but I doubt he is anything like Prince Albert (in a can).

Wirelles. I kind of like this word. It seems new, fun and exciting. Like an Okie-noodling-type-cell-thingy.
