    Has anyone ever configured a RAID array greater than 2TB under Linux 2.6 using the new Large Block Devices feature? We're purchasing a RAID storage server with 24 250GB drives on two 3Ware 9500 controllers, and I'm wondering if I will have to forego the (slower) hardware RAID of the 3Ware cards and configure each drive as its own volume, then handle creating a single volume from them with LVM. My personal inclination would be to combine all the drives into a single RAID-5 volume with one hot spare, but I'm worried the 3Ware driver might not yet support LBD...
