PDF Files and Palm

I always like to keep a few different E-Books on my palm for when I'm bored and away from my desktop, for a while now I've been trying to figure out how to upload PDF files to the palm acrobat viewer from my linux system. As things are now, I have to bug a neighbor of mine to let me use his dock to upload anything. Anyone else tried to do this? Any luck? Thanks for any help.
