yeah, the cat-5 was pretty lame, it was a last minute thing beacuase we were unable to get a wifi card running on the on-board laptop. I beleive the laptop was dropped out of a car (thats why we got it for free) and we accidentaly had a few screws we were drilling out go into the motherboard. Kallahar did a great job of fixing the traces on the board and getting things to run again, but one of these things might of killed the PCMCIA port so we went to the backup of a ugly cat-5 cable and me making sure it wouldn't tangle. Once the dust settles from the con we want to get wifi running on the thing so we can have true wireless RC controls

The robot totally rocked. As for the CAT5, maybe a reel with a 1lb draw to keep it snug...heck the next one will be light years ahead. I foresee a G4/TechTV spot for Kallahar and Tacitus on this one!

I thought as much. Next year I'll be certain to invest in an alarm clock that's actually capable of waking someone.

In that case, I would have been in the hotel room, working on a software application. Without proper coffee, it amounts to the same thing.
