    Defcon Hard Luck Award Voting

Well, It's been just about a month since con, which is enough time for most coma patients to wake up if they could to post thier story.

Sad to say, but I'm glad I did'nt have some of the adventures that many of you did. Crap like that is never fun, but at least we can have some tounge-in-cheek fun with it.

    We have:

    - DC719 losing a tire on the hearse and getting stuck in Utah
    - Chris's delayed US Air flight and lightning dodge game
    - Noid's trip to the ground and subsiquent painful flight and detoured shuttle
    - [Syntax]'s misadventures in flying
    - Che's Chinese food lifeform
    - Dented Halo's lesson of 'don't mess with Customs'
    - OctalPuss's tale of Border Patrol, two flat tires, John Madden, and a police standoff
    - JoeShmucks tale of bee induced causality

Please read thier tales and vote for who you think had the worst luck. Voting will be open for a week or so, or whenever I get around to declaring a winner.

Honorary mention to ndex for arriving, getting sick and missing most of con. As well an honorary mention to anyone else who had any bad luck at con.

There's a direct link to mine. The link in my old post just goes to my LJ, and I've posted a good bit since then, so you have to dig for the story about the drive home.

I can just picture a hearse losing a wheel. I wonder about the folks who witnessed it or who passed them.

As a witness in the car driving behind the hearse, all I have to say is that panic sets in way too fast.

Especially when you have parts flying back at you when your going about 70mph down the highway.

heh... not being the selfish bastard.. .I will not vote for myself as having a most miserable time at DC this year.. instead I will make fun of the fact that RenderMan needed an escort through Utah as to NOT have a time worse than he had last year.. thank you and good day
If I had a nickle for every time someone offered me ten cents to keep my two cents to myself... I would be a rich man.
