    Generating Packets

    Hello again guys.

    Im using a tool called airodump and aircrack (found at netstumbler forums).

    For those of you who know how it works i need to know how to generate more packets thus capturing more IV's. If i dont have the ip address of the target AP how do i generate packets?(I cant TCMP Ping Flood as i have no connection). In a way i want my orinoco card to try to establish a connection with the AP but fail due to the key not being entered, each time i try to make a connection 3 or 4 IVs will be captured. Thus, if i try to connect (but fail) around 100 times per second then i will capture IVs at a high rate. What do i need to do?

    Do i simply try to generate the handshaking procedure? How would i go about doing this? Ive managed to crack my WEP by using a different networked machine to just ping flood the ap so my laptop can capture IVs but now i want to test this in the same way it could occur in a real world situation.

          He may have actually posted it here first, although I'm not sure why he would have posted it here all.

          I posted a minor correction to him on an unrelated subject over at NS, and he said that he felt like I'd "slapped" him. Someone else then suggested the Chicken should be choked. :)

            Hello guys

            I did post it here first but then was told wrong place to post.

            There are many threads on the ns forums that say how to generate traffic if your inside the network but i would like to generate traffic from outside the network on a windows xp laptop.

            All i could find on ns forums was from linux or when connected to network.

            My neck is too short for you to choke me, you gonna have to keep slapping me ;)

              Hahahaha! Being in Wales and speaking UK-English, you probably don't realize that "Choking the Chicken" is US-English slang for male masturbation. What you'd call "wanking." So you might want to rethink that line about "too short." :D

                  Notice the lenght of the male terms as compared to the female, just goes to show guys will look for any excuse to play the piper.

                  Ohh and Wales is a nice country, although the language is hard to learn like gaelic. But I prefer good ole English to the linguistic stylings of a country that is a country only in name. So...... Cachau bant < I think that is correct (kiss off?)>
