I loved Clippy on Salmon Days, a series of shorts created by The Register's BOFH. He would walk around the office annoying random people, saying things like "Hey look everyone! He's downloading pornography!"45 5F E1 04 22 CA 29 C4 93 3F 95 05 2B 79 2A B0

I'd love to find an mpeg copy of a short I once saw on TV... No idea what it was called, but from what I remember it basically went like this:Originally posted by cheI've always wanted to see that damn thing used as a lockpick..
Guy's sitting at his desk writing a short (4- or 5-line) memo while a running background commentary touts the virtues of Word's interactive assistants. Clippy pops up next to him and offers annoying advice at every other word he types. Eventually the guy gets pissed, grabs him violently, and some implied violence takes place as we fade out. Fade back in: the guy's using a severely mangled Clippy to eject the floppy disk from a Mac just as the voiceover makes mention of how 'users consider Clippy to be the most valuable tool within the Microsoft Office suite'.Comment
