Anyone starting up any computer related projects?

I'm looking for some type of computer related project to either start up or take part in, just to pass some time and do something useful. I have yet to think of any practical ideas, so I thought somebody around here might be planning something or wanting to do the same. Reply if you have any ideas.

The only thing I have thought of so far is deploying a honeynet and analyzing the data, just seems like it would be pretty interesting. Any other ideas are appreciated.

DC410 is organizing a CTF (Capture the Flag) exercise for our members. Leading up to the actual exercise we have been doing presentations on ethics, basic attack / defend methods, securing boxes, useful tools, etc. Not only will it be a fun exercise for the members to participate in, but they will also be able to further their knowledge by doing so.
