Yes you can, you can use any 2.4 gHz antenna as long as it meets FCC requirements. Just make sure that you have the correct connecter.
Hell, I just fried a WRT54G by plugging in my notebook adapter instead of the linksys wallwart. I'll sell both antennas for $10 + postage.

Before you sell them off, you might want to repair the WRT54G. In most Linksys devices, there are two 100uf electrolytic capacitors right behind the power jack. These usually blow when exposed to voltage in excess of their rating. Replacements will cost about $5 total at Rat Shack. It's a cheap fix.

The WRK54G has only one antenna and possesses proprietary data in the ROM, which means no flashing it and running *nix off of it. I got one from Sam's Club, the price was good but I had little to play with on the config menu.
