wondows 2000 registry?

ok i got bored the other night so i did a google search on windows registry and i found something very interesting, u can change the start text on the start button to any 5 letter or less word or number that you want, but a friend of mine was telling me that you could also change the wondows logo on the start button(windows flad) but he said he didnt remember how to do it and doesnt remember where he saw how to do it, so i was wondering if anyone knows how or where i might find this information, i know that it is in the explorer.exe file and you have to use a hex editor to change it but im not sure where in the explorer.exe file becuase it is a big file and im not to good at binary or decoding it, so any help would be greatly apreciated and i than u in advance.

p.s. i tried google and i didnt find anything except how to edit the text on it.
