Just wanted to drop an update here about Tokyo and their 2600 meetings.
While i have no particular alleigence to either the 2600 group or the DC group, I thought it worthy enough to post here that the group of 'hackers' in Tokyo successfully celebrated our one year annivesary.
We've gone from 200 hits a month to 20,000 hits a month now.
It is scary to think that we are pretty much now the largest 'hacker' group in Japan, in the worlds 2nd largest economy.
I'm thinking that as things grow, maybe we'll need our own defcon/non corporate/shenanigan filled con in Japan sometime :)
We were also interviewed by the leading Japanese hacker magazine "Hacker Japan".
It is a fun and exciting time to be in Tokyo right now!
