    Icon Next to name

Anyone know what the new Icon next to our names in the message threads is for?

Do you mean the green/blue "lights" to the right of the name? A mouseover reveals "hackajar is online now" and "allentrace is offline".

Yeah, its a user status indicator. Its an easy way to tell if other users are online or offline.

I don't remember this being new? Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

It's new if you have been here for a while.

I joined in august, and I thought it was here then; maybe it was a different forum.

You're new if you still count your time here by months.

Why is it when I read the words "mouse over" I *think* the words "reach around?"

You've been hanging out with HighWiz and Stitch too much?

Well that's consistant with my employer's choice in using Moz over other alt's in Linux land

No, I haven't had the pleasure of speaking with either HW or stitch in a very long while. I miss them...

Maybe this is just my way of coping without my weekly dose of homosexualisms.

edit: I believe Chris should have a red indicator light rather than a green one.

It just surprises (stuns/shocks/horrifies/amazes) me when people who frequent this board don't maintain current patch levels even when there are well published exploits and the patches have been available for quite some time.
