Yup, I read your entire post. I guess you can figure out for yourself that you were about 2 more posts from being banned from these boards for good. I am sure that you will find more cyber cafe workers here than you will find Oracle programmers. And know what? When you meet them/us in person, it won't matter a bit.

As for your spelling and grammar, at first I doubt you resided in the USA. You don't have to spell check everything, and frankly we can read your posts, and if you type that way because that's your personality and who you are, then don't change a thing.

Thanks for fessing up. We've had our share of dorks who come back for more and more. You may end up being one of the more enlightened members of the group, having received a lesson here early.

Okay, let's start over. WELCOME!

I remember once telling a lie to my parents when I was a kid and the only way I could dig was deeper. To get out of it I had to confess the lie, which of course takes a chunk of pride out of you. Hopefully it was as educational to him as it was to me!

I have actually already closed my browser and opened it again just to put this post. Indeed this is the "scariest" forum I am registered with. This forum will keep you on your feet when posting a message. Your grammar and spelling shall be noticed and corrected here. Your ideas can and will be openly challenged, so you better know what are you saying.
But you know what, In here.... I am learning, like many of us do. Aside from learning technical/computer things I do also learn how to handle myself properly in this kind of platform.
I do not post much because I do not have anything relevant to add in most of the topics. But I do read a lot. I enjoy reading the posts of the more knowledgeable members here. As I was following the dementeddemons case, I was eager to chime in to highwizards post in regards of the boards being "strict" but I still manage not to post. Now that the "tension" is in a way settled, I just wanna say that pressure really makes coal into diamonds and that the people in this forum are amazing.

Let me toss in my 2 cents. I am often intimidated by the knowledge displayed on this forum. I think to myself, "Christ, here I am 50 years old, most of these people are half my age and have 10 times the education". Many a Google search has been made by me because I didn't have a clue as to what the particular discussion was all about. Mostly I lurk, occasionally I chime in...if I am fairly certain that I won't appear stupid. As far as "dementeddemon" is concerned, I can see where he would feel that he needed to misrepresent himself. He felt a need to be accepted by those that, in his mind, he deemed superior in skill and knowledge. Personally, I think y'all should feel honored that he thought so highly of you. You are the most intelligent group that I have ever had the honor of belonging to.

Badkarma, we only pick on people's spelling when they are supposed to be CEO's and uber-geniuses. Well, my pet peeve are those who think an apostrophe is part of the letter S and always use it without understanding, like women's vs. womens.

Floydr47, those who don't get scared away the first time usually do just fine here. Those who get scared at first appearance won't make it. It's a vetting process.

I know that alot of the time i dont use the " ' " much but i know the difference between women's and womens.
