help on cd-roms to find

Ive searched through google and found tooooo many.
i want cd-roms or text books that can guide me through the following programs:

adobe photoshop CS
flash mx 2004
adobe atmoshphere
cybermotion 3D designer
and something that can help me learn much more advanced things on making websites like learning DHTML Javascript etc. Can this be done in dreamweaver MX?

im guessing some of you have used these or alternatives so im asking advice on which tutorials, cd-roms are best to get me into firm grips with things.

im quite fluent with building general websites but im now up for learning much much more about them in a depth.
To be honest im bored with having to go onto many different websites to find what i want to find

sorry i know you are trying to help but maybe i was a bit vague in my last post.
I have found oh so many different programs and text books which can help me and everything but there are too damn many from me to just go and chose one, i dont want to waste my money and go get something and think hang on i cant grasp a single thing of whats going on here and im sure some have you have come across this.
I really want to know what are the best for learning how to do things exactly how they should be done because otherwise i could just be wasting money or trying to take the long way around learning something that could be potentially easy

Well see if you had of posted this to begin with I could have stated the following:


Adobe Photoshop CS: I love Adobe Photoshop CS and have found that it is a great program to help make everything from web graphics to tee-shirt design. I highly recommend it but you do need to a bit of reading to be able to fully grasp the program, it is a helpful program as far being able to create items, change fonts to look the way you want them to, add color to stuff, rotate items to placement liking, changing attributes, and so-forth. I have also found that I like to use Adobe Photoshop CS with Adobe After Effects for those odd ball, strange, and yet cool look and style. It is a great tool for what it sounds like your trying to do.

Also, The books and online help you get with both products are great and easy to follow, plus both offer online support 24-hours if you have questions that you can’t seem to find answers for anywhere, it just takes some time to get a reply back (a couple of hours or days, depending on what you asking or if they need more from you)

Flash MX 2004: =] I love this program, however if you do not know action script I would suggest reading up on it to find out if that is something you would want to learn. I say this because action script is a big part in programming and using Flash MX or any other Flash program for that matter. Also, with action script one error can easily turn in to many within a matter of seconds (I Think Grifter and Dedhead can attest to this, seeing as how I screwed up a certain program, trying to fix an error.)

Adobe Atmosphere: Um, not much advice on this one. I still have yet to take it out of it box and that might not happen any time soon.

Cybermotion 3D Designer: I prefer Adobe After Effects myself, but that’s because I’ve had good results with it and you can do more stuff. Also, too me it's easy to understand, learn, and use. Plus, the more Adobe faimly produts you get the better the deal gets when it comes to cost.

As far as something that can help you learn more advanced things when it comes to making websites, the truly best place to learn is by reading stuff on the net. It may be a lot to shift through and decide what’s great, good, or bad to read, but it’s how we learn. And I think the more insight you can get from people the better off you will be at making a decision.

As with most things the people who designed the software or were instrumental in its implementation are the ones whose books you want to buy, ergo buy Adobe for Adobe and Macromedia for Flash etc...

And if you are interested in Photoshop CS I would recommend books along the line of Digital Photography seeing as they go hand in hand. (Sometimes)
