    What Next?

    Moo, here come the cattle...
The badges, introduced at Brittan Elementary School on Jan. 18, rely on the same radio frequency and scanner technology that companies use to track livestock and product inventory.
"It is difficult not to wonder whether that combination of elements which produces a machine for labor does not create also a soul of sorts, a dull resentful metallic will, which can rebel at times". Pearl S. Buck

Man..I've read your posts and you seem like a smart guy, and you couldnt figure out that the google link was just the false front to the REAL site I linked?? you had to type the password into the google field. Guess it's too late now :)

That seems really unnecessary to me. Why not just start closer to home and train the workers more efficiently. But hey, I'm not one of the millionares in charge of those decisions, so I guess it's up to them.

I'm unable to access this url because of the filter in place at my school because it says it contains "General_Pornography". Could someone be a dear and paste it if it's not too long? Or I could just see it when I get home. Thanks.

                :)

Thanks. The idea seems interesting, not to mention all the restrictions placed on him. Someone should let them know he's using the internet even though he's not allowed to.

mmm... i read a newspaper article about the tracking thing. Apparently parents protested, and now the students don't have to wear them.

Yeah. Voltage Spike's first reply near the top gives a link to this story.

I was not making fun of you, and I am not mad at you. Relax. I was criticizing your post for not providing new information to the thread. Here is some constructive help:
You could have asked a question about it, or made a statement about what you thought of the technical mertis of the system, or how students might try to subvert it, and you still can....
