    Pity

I was kinda hoping we were done with the AP. I'm pretty sick of being treated like a child by the hotel rather than the paying adult guest I am. I thought sending people to their rooms last year was a bit much.

Not to mention the fact that they close the pools AFTER the Defcon crowd leaves because of what HAS happened, not what may happen.

        I got it in writing.

I have this dream that won't become a reality for many reasons:
DC Security Goons kick the AP Security guards out of the pool areas because they didn't buy DefCon "Human" Badges.

"Medical emergencies"? As I recall, we were having some good conversation and only one guy was passed out on a chair. From that note, you'd think we were dropping like flies.

At least you got that. I did not even get a response to my complaints... fuckers.
I agree. there were a few dumbasses that overdid it on the booze. The issue I had was them sending in the armbreakers to run everyone off.. I saw them rough folks up when there was no need. Just walking from one part of the building to another got me harassed.. and was even sober..

Highwiz and I made a scene in the lobby, got the guard's attention. They HATE being called GUARDS, they want to be called OFFICERS. You can use that to your advantage. :> Anyway we took up much of the guard's time so they dealt with un instead of patrolling the pools, which WERE being used.

Yeah.. I saw part of this... They had their hands full with you and Highwiz.
It should be intresting this year... I don't think they want to put up with it... but it seems as if we don't want to put up with their shit either....

The words, "Thin Blue Line," refer to the small number that exist of those who try to enforce rules when compared to the masses who might create anarchy.

DoS is mostly brain-dead, but can be applied here to get what is desired.

If enough people are able to entertain* the AP rent-a-cops (spam) long enough, they can't make their rounds to enforce arbitrary draconian policies, and they must rely on DC Security Goons more. (What astcell said, but on a larger scale.)

*entertain: does not mean "get in trouble" or do something stupid.

Because, after 96 words, I overflow some forum member's buffers and can force them to execute my code by overwriting their function's return address on the stack with an address of my choosing.
