      bess

The first 'hack' I learned was to get around bess with a proxy.. none work anymore, so I use http://webwarper.net/ww/~av/(URL HERE)/?*

well there is a whole thread on bypassing BESS, it was dead until some idiot brought it back, this one is pretty much dead too though.

This is one of those cases where it is a tough decision for the user:
          1) Start a new thread for this post (not a good idea due the the many proxy threads that exist.)
          2) Post this as an on-topic item to an existing thread (to maybe bring it back to topic and encourage similar content)
          3) Find an older thread (like the bess one, or any of the recent proxy threads) and post it there.

A guideline: When posting content to an existing thread, the older the thread is, the more useful the added content should be. This thread's last post was only 6 days prior to this. A post like that may help make a non-useful thread useful. So, would this have been useful enough to bring back the bess thread? (Not sure.)

Looks to me like that post is the only one that is close to being "on-topic" or even related to security and most of the rest of this thread could be shoved over to "community talk" or "/dev/null"
