What's the worst hacker movie you have seen?

I think it's Twilight Man. I loved when the evil hacker put on gloves before touching the keyboard!

I have not seen it, so it is probably disqualified, but The Core caused me to not want to see it when they advertised it with a clip of a guy saying, "So you want me to hack the planet?" or something like that.

I also have not seen HaXXXor Girls, but that would probably be on this list too.

Hmm.. how about Jurrasic Park? Wayne Knight aka "Newman" is the computer programmer for the Park, has Jolt Cola can on his desk, and the passworded screen saver.. "ah ah ah.. you didnt say the magic word"

                      That scene came to mind.
I just saw "The Core" a few weeks ago.
SciFi remade the movie and I think it just aired this week.

                      Never heard of circuitry man..
                      How about Johnny Mnemonic?

One of the Jurrasic Park had a character who said something like, "This is UNIX! I know UNIX."
That was worth a good laugh.

I have. I think it is cool.
It is very short, but by design I guess.
His new format is intended to show you how to accomplish a task or learn one particular technology skill. This episode demonstrates how to build and use a warspying device that "compromises" X10 video cameras.

That was the little girl. Then in her search for files she was using a search engine that looked more like a flight simulator, She 'flew' over files and read the names of them as she went over. I bet a lot of people wanted to work in Unix after seeing that.

You are referring to FSN: the 3D File System Navigator. It certainly wasn't the Unix environment I was used to.
