I bought "enternamehere.com" for my name. Sounded interesting to do at the time. Don't even use it! I do see that there are companies out there taking popular names (e.g. johnsmith.com) and trying to resell them. Guess if I did have a vaild purpose for my name, I wouldn't want to pay for it from a squatter. My surname has been bought by a reseller that wants to charge for sub-naming (e.g. john.smith.com) and my surname is pretty unique. Thought that was pretty wack, if you ask me.
Realtors seem to have a fetish with buying their own names as well. Would hate to loose my name to them either (or the painter from Austrailia).
