Reply to this thread with the information outlined to register for the DEF CON 13 WarDriving Contest.
Only one member of each team must sign up in this thread. The team member that signs up will be contacted by Aaron Bayles (AlxRogan) at the email address associated with their DEF CON Forums account. PLEASE, check your filters and ensure that you don't send anything from Aaron W. Bayles (aaron [at] shsu [dot] edu) to the junk bin!! For the purposes of registration, this person will be the team leader. The team leader must include each member of his/her team's name or handle in his post. Aaron will email the disclaimer (same one as the past 3 years) to the team leader.
The team leader must reply, accepting the terms of the disclaimer and providing Aaron with the contact information (email address) for each member of his team so that Aaron can send the disclaimer to them.
Each member of the team will be required to check in at the WarDriving Contest table in the Contest area once they have arrived at DEF CON. This is to facilitate PGP Key exchange. Please be prepared to provide the contest staff with your valid PGP/GPG public key at that time. Each contestant will be provided with my public key at that time if necessary (it is also available on the pgp.mit.edu keyserver or at http://www.securitytribe.com/~roamer...-at-defcon.asc)** as well as any last minute instructions/schedule changes/information of importance.
If you have questions about how to export your public key, let Aaron know or contact me (chris [at] defcon [dot] org) and we will help you.
Each team member will need a PGP/GPG key. Again, if you have questions about this, please ask Aaron before arriving at DEF CON. He will help you, but once we are on site, it is not practical to take up time sorting out these issues.
The latest information about the contest can always be found at http://www.securitytribe.com/dc13wardrive/
Please only use this thread to sign up for the contest. Any questions/comments/concerns/bitches/gripes/praise/bribes/offers of exotic lovemaking (chicks only please) should be posted in this thread
**If you trust the validity of my key please sign it and upload it to the MIT keyserver. If you are unsure of how to do this, please contact me for key verification and instructions for upload. My key ID is 0x432DC5AC and the key fingerprint is D7BB 3866 EDD9 0797 9940 6730 3B25 ADC7 432D C5AC
