The charge light on the connector of my iBook's AC adapter started flickering about 6 months after I bought it. Otherwise I've had really good luck with their portables, but it's certainly luck as my iBook model was supposedly plagued with horrible logic board issues that would render them dead quite frequently. We've purchased 4 PowerBooks where I work and I've gotten nothing but rave replies from their owners. Of course, the same goes with our Dell Latitudes...

I've had much, much worse luck with Xserves. They're certainly more solid hardware wise than the alternative we were considering at the time, Dell PowerEdge 1750s, but MacOS X Server is flakey, their support for it is awful, and they seem to be the only place on the planet where you can't ship a server in for warranty work.

Ok. I got off my lazy ass and got the submission email ready. If you think a person or entity should be inducted into the Fucktard Hall of Fame send an email to tards@fucktardhalloffame.com

My plan is to post all submissions and then choose a weekly inductee into the hall. I may change my plans in any way at any time as I see fit because I rule.

I will post some submission guidelines on the page tonight or tomorrow, but in a nutshell:

Be specific. "My Boss" is not going to get inducted. I want names. If you have a picture, hook me up with that too. I need reasons why you think they should be inducted into the hall. "He's a dick" is not a reason I want. "My Boss Richard Weed should be inducted into the Fucktard Hall of Fame because he skipped town with my last paycheck, fucked my wife, kicked my dog and had my car towed" is getting there.

Don't be a douche. Being a douche when you submit is a pretty good way to ensure that your candidate won't be inducted...but that you will.

Please use an email address that I can contact you back at. I will NOT post your email address on the page (unless you piss me off, then I'll do whatever I damn well please) nor will I sell it, spam you, or use it for anything other than getting clarification on some points of your submission.

Submission sent. I hope you enjoy it as much as I was dismayed by it, at the time. It is a bit long, but that is mostly due to the number of lame things that happened. What is my story? If you are not Chris, you will know if it is good enough. The topic? A laptop needed its hard drive replaced, and the effort to get that done required several passes in the mail.

I am leaning in the direction of an F in a circle, playbil type.
We can use ink for the minor infractions.
For the more effective assholes around, a mixture of acid and ink.
