American DMCA style law making comes to Canada. Oh joy.

The wording of the bill is as bizzare as the DMCA, where your allowed your fair use rights, but you have to break the copy protection (e.g. CSS on DVD's) and the law to do so.

I'm curious to see how any suits brought against individuals pan out because up here we have a 'blank media' levy on blank cassettes, CD's, etc that is supposed to compensate artists for losses through piracy. Can't be double dipping guys.
