Yeah, homemade jerky rocks. I have a cousin who makes up a batch around xmas every year.

I was looking at this cardboard box smoker http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show...245800,00.html, Which got me thinking, wouldn't that make a kick ass case mod? Just used a good sized case instead of the box.

I guess there would be cooling issues to work out, but I think it would be worth it to have freash jerky with out leaving the computer.

Reminds me of this one guy who built a gaming computer in a huge-ass case, and used the leftover space for a freakin' coffeemaker!

Now that, I'd definitely want!

(Of course, a computer that smokes jerky would be cool too - but I'd need some way to keep the smoke away from the innards . . . *thinks*)

Yeah, something like $30 a pound!

Besides, it's too salty for my taste - I can't eat it unless it's mixed with cream cheese and spread on a bagel.






. . . Dammit, now I want a bagel with lox and cream cheese! *cries*
